We have AOL and regular high speed internet.
Once in awhile AOL's lame spyware scanner starts scanning and you can't stop it. My problem/questions is everytime it runs it always detects the same one thing - StarComanderPro. I tell it to remove it but it will detect it again the next time it runs. No other scan has ever picked this up and nobody has ever mentioned its extistence when I post my HJT logs. Is it bogus or a real thing?

If you have had HJT logs looked at after this problem began occuring I would run a scan at Kaspersky WebScannerand Panda ActiveScan . If neither of them pick up StarCommanderPro, you have not had any problems with popups or system stability and it doesn't show in the HJT scan, it's probably a safe guess that it is a false positive.
