The only one I'm finding readily is WINe. I'm also finding VMware (but never capturing it). I hear WINe is hard to make work and VMware is not open source. Any ideas or anyone heard of any "oddball" emulators that work?

I know one that you might try but it is not free. Virtual PC I think make a linux compatable version.

I have used VMware to run Windows 98 in Redhat, works pretty good, but it is not free.

I've always heard of Virtual PC for the Mac, but it is nothing like I want. I want to actually run Windows software under Linux with no version of Windows sapping my resources or taking my disk space up. WINe seems to be what I want, if I can make it work with all my software.
