I've just got a new PC and I've had a little problem with it
you see my hard drive is 300 GB and to format it it took my computer 26 (!)hours
so my question is - Is there any way to increase HDD formatting in raid? so that next time I don't have to wait THAT long?

yes I used quick formt.
hey rimus, 26hrs is way to long for a 300gb hdd. hmmmm if you are installing windows xp, then try using your windows cd to partition and reformat the hdd. windows xp comes with built-in partition and format process on the cd.
