Mandrake 9 does detect my Lexmark printer and Lexmark doesn't have a driver for this printer for linux. Is there any way I can get this printer to work with linux. It is a USB printer, model X75?
try www.cups.org .. Mandrake bases their printer setup off that software, it might be a better idea to check out the software directly then you know what you're working with.
I remember seeing Lexmark drivers under Mandrake 7.2, so you aughta have some. Just try a few and print a test page with each one. Use the one that produces the best output until you get a better one.
