HI ive got a video upgrade project(research) going on&on with conflicting instructions from three companys.its a hp.on there forums people are ending up with the blue screen of death.
and they go round&round trying differnt methods of disabling first the integrated vid card then the onboard graphics.all i want to do is get windows back to a standard vga driver or generic vga-(not standard pci vga adapter)im assuming thats the vid chips onboard 1mb.
then go through the disabling process & uninstall intergrated . theres a article in the knowledge base ,how to force windows to use a standard vga video driver but they lost me at step one.

Just in case some ask's - I know about the driver update wizard-show all hardware ( no standard generic vga driver is listed) that list get's modified if you update the 82810 video adapter (chipset)
anyway there was never a standard generic vga driver listed.


although a little aggravating this subject is to me it's been fun also

Gusss im just worried that the original standard generic vga drv,
was overwritten or is that possible ????
