an "Express" feature??

i have a question about microsoft outlook from office xp... i can't find any option that allows the contact list to be displayed next to the preview pane and underneath the folder list!? in outlook express i found the option easily, but not in ms outlook xp...
what's up with that?
also, is there any way to put ms outlook in the taskbar only so that i can have it open in the bkg and only notify me of mail?

You want it to run all the time?

Are you on DSL? The easiest way to keep it running from startup is to stash a shortcut of it under Startup (Start->Programs->Startup) and set that shortcut so it runs minimised. It's easy (under right-click->properties).:cool: Beyond that, I don't know of a way to make it run as an icon on the system tray. May not be a way.
