I have a Gigabyte GA-K8N51GMF-9 motherboard and I have version 6.00pg. I don't know if this is the more up to date version cause the website is unclear.
The earliest version it says is F7 :4-dontkno . So, i'm wondering, how can I get the newest version? I'm affraid to do a flash of BIOS cause I don't wanna screw anything up and kill my comp. Will @bios work just like windows update for bios? Your suggestions please.

I agree with speedster123, you should not upgrade the bios unless there is a issue a newer version of bios will fix. Yes there are programs that flash thru windows but there is a higher risk with these. I prefer using a dos utility to flash bios but I avoid offering guidance with these because different board manufactures have differences and there is just to much beyond my control working remotely. I suggest if you must upgrade to follow the board manufactures instructions in your manual or the website and you should be ok
