I have an HP Omnibook 4150 running win2k. The internal alt keys do not work. Neither one of them works making me think that it is not a hardware situation. No other keys misbehave.

Also, if I use an external keyboard, either in a dock or direct-plug, those Atl keys work just fine.

Sounds like a hardware issue to me...

I don't see how it could be hardware when both atl keys fail and when no other keys fail.
