how much of an advantage is allocating system ram to graphic memory? would the advantage overcome the loss in system ram? and how much would be the best amount? i know this is possible on integrated graphic cards.

It actually depends , some integrated gpu's do not support allocating system ram and some do.

Safe to say though , any gpu that support allocating system ram isn't going to be helped much by it. You will notice this is a feature only used on low end gpu and integrated gpu's which suffer performance issues natively.
