As some of you may know this is a new game, so there may still be some bugs and stuff in it that no one knows about and they will fix eventually. But one problem with it has been popping up repeatedly and I can't seem to fix it.

I play the game for about 20 to 30 minutes, then it crashes on me and pops up with an error saying:

e:\dev-env\build\branch_live\code\common\cheetah\gui\DXUTStripped.cpp (10876)
Internal driver error. - 0x88760827

Is this a problem with my computer or the game? I have the minimum requirements to run it, and my computer can run my other games like Call of Duty 4, Assassin's Creed, etc. without problems. Thanks in advance

i dont have that problem because my game wont even start. what happens for me is the loading screen appears and then i click PLAY. after i click play i give it a minute then an error pops up syaing:

error Failed to initialize rendering subsystem.

does anyone know of anything i can do for this game to start working?
Stonersmurf, this problem I do know how to fix.

First of all check to make sure that your video card is at least the minimum requirement. If it is, then do the following.

1. Start the game. When you hear the music starting, a prefs file has been written and you can edit it (in Notepad for example).

2. To find this, you must go to control panel -> folder options -> view -> turn on see hidden files and folders.

3. It is found at the following location on your PC

XP: C:\Documents and Settings\UserName\Local Settings\Application Data\Funcom\Conan

4. Edit the line called < Value name="RenderSetting_ShaderModel" value="1" />

5. It should read <Value name="RenderSetting_ShaderModel" value="0" /> (NOTE: NO spaces between "<" and "Value").

6. Launch Age of Conan.

That's what the support site says, if that doesn't work I don't know what then XD All I know is that this game is still buggy, and they're still working out the kinks. I sent an email for help from them three days ago and still haven't got a response.
