I had just uninstalled SP2 off of my main computer. After restarting i cannot boot into xp or any safe mode iteration of it. I just get error messages with such and such .dll is corrupt or missing. It tells me to go into windows xp setup and run the recovery console, but when i try to boot from the xp cd, while loading, it tells me setupdd.sys could not be loaded, error code is 4. I get the same error as well when trying to boot into ERD commander. If anyone has a solution, please answer ASAP

update: great, i formatted my computer by accident ( thank god this isnt important stuff ) so this thread can be deleted

What was the reason for trying to get rid of SP2 ? Many people try to do this, and the cause of their problem is sometimes something else.
