Yes, brian i've tried this dowload and it told me that i didnt have something about os. i trying it one more time. While it is loading i write you saying exactly what its telling me i dont have

Which OS do you have, WinXP or Win2000? That link should work for both.

If you can't get it to install, try Foxit, an alternative to Adobe Reader that loads quicker and uses less system resources.
