Adobe Acrobat wants to install but can't

I have Adobe CS3 and it worked fine. I had to install an old version of Pagemaker 7 for some old documents that I have. After I did that when I try to print an Adobe pdf file it says that it needs to install. The install starts but does not finish and hangs there. I uninstalled things, re-installed them, but to no avail. At about the same time, the Acrobat stopped working on two other computers.
What do I try next?

Hi Randy. Welcome to TSF! :wave:

Can you try to re-install Acrobat using the CS3 CD and just select that one program for installation or is that what you meant by you already tried re-installing?

Uninstall Pagemaker 7 which probably isn't supported with Acrobat CS3. If you need to run the Adobe Clean Tool to remove Acrobat and then reinstall after restarting
