Okay, I understand that this is a big bug in Windows 7. But I have my own Alienware m11x laptop, with Windows 7. Which means I am the only user with administrator privileges.

But I can't make files in Program Files (x86) unless in Windows Explorer. So some programs are not installing properly, and I can't save files into the Program Files (x86) with other programs.

Hi -

No "bug" in Windows 7 re: \Program Files or \Program Files (x86) folders. They both are virtualizable and output placed in them (outside of program installs) may end up in the Virtual Store -

C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\VirtualStore
