I am using fedora and i have only one partition(file system),i want to add another partition so that i can store my files and softwares..So pls tell how to add a partition..

HI,

Boy you have a lot of questions. Just kidding!! You need to go to Applications -> System Tools -> GParted. From there you will be able to change the partitions on your hdd. It is a pretty easy program to use. If you need help with it you can go to GParted.
