I had a Dell Dimension computer that had 2 Sata drives set up in Raid configuration and now have bought a new Dell XPS. In order to have a second storage drive in it (Not Raid) I took one of the hard drives out of the old computer and installed it into my new one, but it isn 't recognized anywhere as far as I can see. I checked disk management, and looked in the Bios ( only looked aa I was afraid I might screw things up good.) Can someone help and if possible kind of walk me through what to do. Do I need to change some pins or something? Thanks:4-dontkno

When you installed the second drive make sure you installed it into SATA Port2. If the drive was plugged into any other port the drive wont be recognized properly. Good luck!!
