Hi, Ive added a 160gb western digital drive as a slave because windows tells me that "system" is 90% full. I intialized and formatted the slave and windows recognizes the drive and has allocatted it a drive letter but it now tells me that system is 99% full and new drive is empty. I thought that windows would just use the space on the new drive but I seem to be mistaken, do I have to move the partitions around ? I am worried about messing with the system partitions as I don't want to lose any programs. How can I get windows to use the space on the new drive for the systems? I hope I have made my problem clear, all help appreciated. Pete
you will need to move stuff (picts, docs, movies, music and such) from c drive to your new drive. You cannot move programs but you can reinstall to the new drive.
Hi,thanks for the help and sorry for the delay in replying. How do I get the internet explorer to download to the new drive? I tried to move my itunes but I think all I did was move the actual music should I uninstall itunes then reinstall it on the new drive ? How do I protect my music on itunes ? (Same prob with my Kodak easyshare) If I install new software do I need to "custom install" to send the software to new drive? Sorry to go on thanks again. P.S those Trolls look hungry
