I have uninstall a bunch of useless programs from my computer through add/remove programs. Their files are gone but they are still coming up when I launch 'add or remove programs'...the list is::4-dontkno

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Either the programs are not getting removed from your computer, or somehow their values are stuck in the windows registry.

Go here to learn how to manually remove them. BE CAREFUL WITH YOUR REGISTRY!! Follow the instructions EXACTLY!

Since you have multiple instances: only attempt to remove one item from the Add/Remove Programs list at a time! Also, when following the instructions on that page you need to repeat steps 3 & 4 again after each successful removal. That way you don't end up having to delete the same values repeatedly.
