This question would be better suited in the Internet Explorer forum. However, I can lead you a little bit ... check out Tools + Internet Options + Security tab + Custom Level while highlighting the particular zone you're looking to make changes for. There are tons of ActiveX settings in this area.

Of course keep in mind that reducing the security settings of ActiveX can have negative consequences especially when you hit a site that's looking to do some voodoo on your PC.
