I've got a server 2003/XP based enviroment with 300 + users. Our head of IT and the It Support administrator cannot change passwords only on certain users. It says 'Windows cannot complete the password change for fred.bloggs because: Access is denied'

They are in the 'super users' and 'Password reset' groups.

Any help will be much appreciated.

use a domain admin account, or a account with delegated rights.

Superusers? thats not a real group .. you mean domain admins .. if so then your doing something wrong, cuz they can do anything
