I previously had a clone running Win ME and my Acer Scanner 620P scanner worked fine. I have since upgraded to XP, and now my scanner wont seem to work. I'll elaborate.
During warmup my scanner moves fully back and forth, however since installing XP, my scanner only moves about an inch each way on startup. The only troubleshooting material that Acer provides says to unlock the scanner.....well its not locked!
The driver has been updated and XP recognizes it no problem. The problem is only noticeable when I try to scan.
Any help for a newbie to this forum?
