Acer....no power

I was using my Acer Aspire 5570 laptop last night, it was working 'as good as usual' All of a sudden without warning it lost all power and will not turn on. I've tried removing the battery as well as removing as much from the back as I felt comfortable with and cleaning it up. It just will not work. The cord has been tested and is fine too.
I don't want it to be the motherboard as I simply can not afford a new computer.
PLEASE help me.....
