acer t180 desktop
this pc is throwing me off. when the bios boot, you still see the normal acer boot screen, you can still choose the boot menu as well going to the boot menu to make mods. well, after just a normal boot, it gets to a screen that says.....
" verifying DMI pool data..
k8 NPT data change...Update new data to DMI!..........update success"
after this point....nada. it just sits in bios limbo. now i can get windows to boot only if i use hirenes boot cd. 10.4 and use the windows 7 boot mgr. of course at the moment i have the bios set to boot from cd. but this boot option must be used at every startup/restart. its getting annoying. now i have tried to clear the cmos by removing the battery, by moving the jumper on the motherboard over as well. now other than that, i dont know much about bios flashing and so fourth. now another friend told me its a windows problem, just reinstall, well i did so and no luck. btw, its running 7ultimate 32bit. the last thing i did before i wrote this post up was using the bios updater via acer website and of course....nothing. so any ideas guys?
