Yeah I know it's pretty old. LOL But I need to get another year out of this old girl because I want to get my kids laptops for Christmas. Mom can wait another year.

Okay so I'm not really computer savvy so bear with me. Hopefully someone can help me with this.

In my c drive I only have 1.45GB of free space left. Obviously, this is a HUGE problem and I've deleted every unnecessary file I had to get more.

In my d drive I've got 16.9GB of free space. All that beautiful space just going to waste!!

So you can guess what I'm gonna ask right? Can I allocate some of that free space onto my c drive? And if so, how do I do it?

Acer allocated the 80GB drive into two 40GB partitions on the 3000. I would simply copy and paste files from your my documents folder to the D: partition. Run the Windows Disk Cleanup and then the Windows Disk Defragmenter. Without reinstalling Windows and repartitioning the drive it will be difficult to resize the partitions.
