Hi

I have a problem with my Acer AL2021 Monitor. The screen shows "acer" ,but it goes blank after a couple of seconds and then when i turn it off and on again it displays the correct graphics, then turns off again after a couple of seconds. I have to turn the monitor on and off several times to make it work properly. After that it works like a charm. Does anyone have the same problem with their monitor and is there a way to fix it? Could it be a component /s on the circuit board that is causes the problem?

Hi and thanks for the answer.

Yes I have tried it on two different computers but the problem remain so i guess the problem is in the screen. A Note: when I power up the screen there's a high frequency sound, almost a buzzing sound, for a couple of seconds. Any ideas of what it could be?

sounds to me like the power converter inside the monitor / I know of no DIY fix for that one
