You could try removing the CMOS battery for 15mins and clearing all power as a long shot. but I think you bricked the BIOS. See if Acer has a bootable utility that allows you to reflash the BIOS outside of Windows. See if they have any previous versions of the BIOS available.

this is my first official post and I hope you all can help.
I'ma a pretty good tech guy but I ran across an issues that I'm not sure i can solve. I have an acer 5745-7247 I downloaded a bios update. I did this through windows (bad choice I know) but once the sysyem restarted....nothing but a black screen the power light shows and the fan runs if I hold the power button or FN + ESC. It will not display if connected to an external monitor. I've seen a bios recover for other acer models but not this one. any suggestions? thanks for any help!!!
