Hi everyone

Having some real trouble getting this Acer 5315 online. All drivers I've downloaded from the Acer website install the device but only produce a local only connection. It's driving me insane! I don't know what to do! Can anyone suggest anything?

Are there any driver problem listed in Device Manager?

Are you trying to connect to a secured or open wireless network?

Perform the following steps:
-Click Start > in the Search field type cmd and open the program
-In the command windows type ipconfig /all hit Enter.
-Right-click inside the black (command) windows and choose "Select All"
-Paste the results into your next post.

Could it be because i have a wireless N virgin superhub? It's quite an old laptop and i've often had problems with older laptops getting connected to it.

I have a wireless dongle, but can't seem to get an up to date driver for it.

Have finally managed to get the ethernet working at least...
