The second HD should be able to be plugged into any WIN box and work (if the jumpers are set correctly).
Accessing 2nd HD-1st HD Reformatted WinXP
This is for future reference - can anyone tell me of their actual experience with 2 HDs installed, where only the main "C" HD is reformatted under WinXP. Does the 2nd HD automatically become unaccessible and must be partitioned?
The next time I reformat, if I disconnected the 2nd HD while reformatting the "C" drive and installing WinXP, will I then have access to the data on the 2nd HD when it is reconnected?
I use the 2nd HD for storage of installation files which I download, and a full file backup. I have alot of audio files which are too large to back up on a CD.
