So my friend has a project that he needs help with create a access database to run calculation query. i am use to access but calculation queries i dont know much about Attached is the question page and the Access database i have so far all the help i can get is most appreciated

This really sounds like homework but I will try to point you in the right direction.
Have you done this query?:

b. The number of policies that each policy owner has. Name this query NUMPOL

Count data by using a query - Access - Office.com
and
SQL: COUNT Function
