AC/DC Transformers

I have brought over from Europe a number of gadgets that use wall transformers 240V AC to 6/9/12 V DC. Can I use those transformers in thre US with a 110V AC outlets, by using adapters (round to flat) for the plugs only?? If so, what voltage/wattage will I be getting from them?
