I have a friend who is experiencing problems with his computer,
he has a KD7 mother board, Amd 2000, 512 ddr etc.etc..
The problem he is having is related to the powering up of the computer.

When you connect the power lead to the power suply the board fan and cpu fan both start to run, this , for whatever reason will not alow you to turn on the computer by the usual means (front of the case). Whatever is causing the power to be transfered to the fans before you switch on the computer is not allowing him to boot up the computer.

I hope this makes sense to you as it reads terrible.

Any help would be gratefully apreciated.

Thanks

It is a computer that has been running for about 5 months, but this is the first time that he has switched it off. He always leaves it running 24/7.
