Hello there,
I hope someone can help, sorry if I'm posting in the wrong place or a noobie question.

Here it is, basically when ever I open the HWmonitor 1.08 or 1.09 either 32-bit or x64 or even in vista or XP x86 or x64 when Uguru [any version 3104 to 3109] the whole desktop will freeze and I have to do a manual shutdown.

After a clean windows setup, all drivers, NO Overclocking at all, if I play games or use Prime 95 or Orthos unit will not freeze at all, games run perfectly and so on.

It happens with any hdd or memory combination, I even replaced with a different CPU and same.

If I run Uguru only / no freezing.
If I run HWmonitor only / no freezing.

I do not think this is a hardware problem, well I hope, I just want to know if someone else with this motherboard has the same issue. so I won't be worrying about returning it.

its probably happening because both programs are trying to access the same devices sadly i dont think theres a solution. hope this helps or makes sense

Hey dude, I know this is an EXTREEMELY late reply, I had exactly the same issues that you listed, i replaced every component in the case, EXEPT mobo, It randomy froze but sometimes worked, Its mobo, I had exactly the same mobo, it outputs wrong voltages throught the case and instantly damages the cpu, ( it killed 3 of mine) and can possible damage ram and graphics card. RMA it or just get a new board... Gigabyte in my opinion is the best you can get...
