Hi,

Here are my system specs:
Abit AT8 32X Motherboard
AMD X2 4800 CPU
AMD/ATI 1900XT GPU
Corsair DDR 500 (PC 4000, passed memtest every time)

Problem first experienced when loading XP.. would not recognize any keys I used on keyboard until past initial part to where you need to agree by hitting F8.. F6 key never recognized when installing.

USB keyboard does not work for any diagnostic tools from floppy drive like Memtest or WD Diagnostic tools.

Not sure if related.. but DVI-I out on my video card does not sent video signal to my Monitor when in BIOS or when loading certain programs and.. while running diagnostic tools from floppy drive or CD ROM drive

When I got no signal from DVI-I port.. I tried the S-Video as last resort to try to get video.. and it works.. via colorstream input on my Monitor, but only when the DVI is not working and visa versa the dvi-i only works when the s video is not working.. strange, but true.. Murphy is and has been way to close to me lately concerning my PC.

I am trying to find a solution to this.

Any ideas on how to get my usb keyboard and video card working properly for this motherboard? :4-dontkno

usb working now.. but still problems.. fail safe default is set to use os to determine usb rather than bios, so won't work without os i guess and I set to use bios and it works now.. so some good news!

Issues with video card continue.. heard this is normal on one forum in regards to dvi out, but can anyone confirm? still having disk boot failure and really loud sound and system crashes pretty easily.. anyway.. will probably rma.. but still want to learn more.
