Welcome to TSF:

coolmax is a medium quality level PSU / and the 400 watts is WAY too underpowered for an SLI system in my opinion / some of the techs in here have been able to get away with a PSU under the 500 watt mark / but I highly doubt they will advise you BUY a marginal sized PSU / nor do i think they bought the undersized model when they purchased the SLI board / more likely had a PSU available and flew with it ??!!

I highly reccommend you buy either an Enermax or ANtec Tru Power / minimum 500 watt ~~~ if I were in your shoes I would grab a eneramx 600 watt SLI ready psu / do a search on ebay you will see one / then shop newegg.com too the model is something like EG751 ??????????

An SLI system is a real sensitive ~~FINICKY power hog / dont be disappointed or mess up some expensive quality componets / buy a good PSU

enjoy
