A7S8X onboard video problem

bought this mobo for someone because it was cheap and had onboard video, but when i booted it up first time no video signal at all. Computer sounds fine , hard drive, fans power lights on mobo. bbut no video signals .is there a jumper setting i missed?. i have 512 generic ram and i dont remeber the cpu except its socket A and around 1.7. Any known issues with this piece of crap?

Hi,

With onboard video that does not sound very promising. What I would do if it were mine to to clear CMOS and see if that helps. Be sure you have tried a known good monitor before you go too far.
