A Vegas 5.0 rookie needs help

I hope im posting this in the right place

Ive been useing 4.0 for some time and got the basics, i recently got 5.0 i like it its a good program. I have been useing it for makeing music videos with games and songs frome Linkin Park System of a Down, SlipKnot. Im makind a new one with Halo 2 and the song blow me away by Breaking Benjimin and need help.

How do i get the song info to display at the bottem corner of the screen when the film clips are playing. When i insert a text clip it will not blend with the clip it will just fade in and out.

When i use the light beam Eft how do i get it to work in that area i am clules.

I have had no help with this program or Bryce 5 so plz bare with me.
