Hi everyone!

I've recently invested in a 7970 and it should be here on Saturday or Monday. But, I've realized one thing since purchase; The 7970 has one less DVI port than the 6970. So, I'm going to have to get one more Displayport cable to use 3-way eyefinity.

But I remembered that you can power 2 displays off of one DP port. So what device would I be looking for and how much am I looking at paying for one?

For Eyefinity, you can use two DVI/HDMI ports and one Display Port or two Display ports and one DVI/HDMI port.

For the Display ports, the monitors should have Display ports, or you should use active adapter cables.

I have 3 monitors with DP and I currently have setup: 1 x DP and 2 x DVI.

How do I run 2 screens off of one DP?

You need a cable that can split into two ports.
