Is it still under warranty ? Did you do a good cleaning ? errr... You will have to replace the fan i guess...
6600gt fan doesnt run
for some reason the fan on my 6600gt msi doesnt run. obviously it should cause it gets to 85c not even doing anything. If somebody knows why id appreciate it.

yeah ever since ive had it its never spun. which probably explains why it gets so hot.
you should have taken it straight back
i got it from newegg. i didnt realize it wasnt spinning till i looked in and saw it wasnt.
Hmm, I can hear my 6800's fan spinning. Get in touch with Newegg about a replacement, they're usually pretty good about it.
