I'm in a bit of a pickle. I just bought a new computer (AMD64 x2, 1.5G RAM, and a GeForce 6150LE integrated GPU). I can't afford to get a decent graphics card for a while and was wondering if putting in my old GeForce FX5500 128mb PCI would improve performance for the time being over the integrated GPU. It seems to me that it would at least lighten the load on the processor and memory but it's also an outdated card. I also have a BFG GeForce 6200 OC 256mb PCI but I have had nothing but problems with it so I would prefer to go with the 5500. But only if it will make a difference. Any suggestions?

yes, it should perform a little better than the integrated card..

and AGP is better than PCI...

is the FX5500 PCI? or AGP?

is it's AGP, throw the 5500 in the 4 the time being...
