Do you think it's possible to remove any lag/delay when playing a game online/lan? I'm playing lord of the rings battle for middle earth with a friend and no matter what we've tried, whoever is not hosting gets insane delay lag, his upload is 2mbit and my own is 1mbit, yet we lag equally much when not hosting, any thoughts as to how this can be fixed? openening some ports or something? we googled for some answers but without luck, so here I am agian seeking your expertise, hope this is enough information for you to work with.

Port forwarding in your router would be good.

I had thought about port forwarding, but the only ports I found was something like 8000-20000, I did open them though it didn't seem to work, have idea as to which ports should be opened? the 8000-20000 seems too fishy to be honest.
