Is it really worth getting 3 GFX cards?
I am just wondering if there is a Substantial Diffrence between Regular SLI and Triple.
If I was to get 2 get 2 8800GFX for example.
Is there any game that would ever require more then that to run? In terms of games coming out recently.
AoC, Crysis, Mass effect ect.

I think even with 3 8800 gtx's crysis still only got 40 to 50fps with everything on max. Waste of money if you ask me. 1500$ of gpu's alone. I can understand regular sli , but triple is kinda , over the top.

Also if you have the kind of money look at the 9800 gtx's.

Triple SLI is setup differently than standard SLI. The 3rd card that uses the PCI-E x8 is used for Physics calculations. So in essence you get the same graphical process power as standard SLI. But as no game supports 3 waySLI its a waste of money as the games wont use the Physics card.
A dual or Quad core is more than sufficient to do physics calculations without hindering a games performance.
