3D Reach wireless adapter

please help,
problem with my 3D netopia wireless adapter , when i try and type in the serial number from my Aircom Wireless Router it will accept serial numbers but not the serial letters , i would appreciate any help , Thanks .

how have you set the aircom security - is set to HEX - which would only allow 0-9 A-F

i can seem to google aircom routers - to get at a user manual - do you have a link
