hey guys.. i have a very interesting problem...
when i play NFS Most Wanted.. after maybe ½ hourplay my pc starts lagging and suddenly úhm.. renders the game at 2x speed.. looks like when you fast forward a movie or something!? feels like its FPS limiters just switch off and renders away...

i have a 8800gtx 2gb ram athlon64 x2 4400? i can restart the pc and then it'll go normal for a while... checked the heat.. not going too hot or anything..

anyone have an idea of what's going on?

Welcome to TSF, Hakan.

First step: go to the AMD website and download the latest drivers for your CPU. This problem sometimes happens when dual-core CPU's are used and the drivers haven't been installed.

If that doesn't help, follow each of the steps in Common Game Issues in my signature, and post back with results (and full system specs if the problem persists).
