Right now I have a single 256MB BFG 6800 Ultra OC in my K8N-neo..

Im having trouble finding another one... BFG seems to be selling
6800 Ultra OCs with 512MB only....

Is there going to be a problem using unlike memory?
If not, will it just be a waste or will I use the full 512 on the newer card?

i woulddnt recommend buying the 512, it probly wont run sli with the 256.

other companys might work with it, but i woulddnt recommend sli either, the 6800ultra has plenty of power.
you could look on ebay, but to be honest sli isnt really that great. if you want us to recommend an upgrade, post all your specs...

speaking of ebay... enjoy

Your cards have to be identical, right down to the BIOS version, for SLI to work. Therefore, a 512MB video card will not run in SLI with a 256MB one.
