[Spree wp]

hi anyone,
i am clueless n this regard... i bought a new 1tb Samsung sata 32mb 3.5"
i mounted the drive in computer management which it finds and allocates but as a "simple" drive and type "Dynamic" NTFS.

when i copy to the drive it copies at 16mb which is still okay for me, but when i need to copy back off from the drive to another drive or os drive it copies at 886kbs~1.2mb

i am running winxp 32bit on a hpdx2000 MT intel (R) 2.7GHZ 2Gig ram

anyone care to assist please?

Internal HDD?

Ensure the motherboard drivers are up to date. Also ensure the drive hasn't defaulted to PIO mode. Aside from that, I'd suspect a faulty drive.
