Are you getting a "check engine" light?

i believe on that model of car that your problem lies in your throttle body. First remove your air intake assembly and any hoses or lines that are in your way. Then disconnect your throttle linkage and remove your throttle body. clean it out well with a can of carb cleaner. Remove your IAC (idle air control valve) and check to see that it is clean. clean with cleaner if neccessary. Also make sure your idel adjuster is correctly set and then bolt everything back together and see if that fixes your problem. Trust me i had the same issues with my vehicle. Between doing what i just told you and sealing up a few minor vaccum leaks, that should be your problem... aslo if your check engine light is on then you should connect a diagnostic scanner and test for trouble codes. Let me know if this helps...
