hi.. i just recently upgraded my system to a gtx 470 fermi and noticed it recommended resolution of 1280x720p my monitor is a LG Flatron W2043T with a max res of 1600x900 (native)....which should i use for gaming for overall performance / quality? 1600x900 or 1280x720 as my new gpu recommended ? Thanks!!

You should be able to max everything at the higher resolution with the 470. Odd that they would recommend a lower res. Trying it is the only way to find out for sure, but the rest of your specs like fine.
