Everytime I try and install certain games I get a message saying- C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'Close' to terminatethe application.
I havn't got much of a clue with this kind of stuff so if anyone has any ideas, give me a shout yeah?
Cheers!

hello and welcome to techsupportforums.

please do not double post, as it tends to confuse people.

if you are unsure which section to post in, post in the section that you think is correct, and if it's in the wrong place, we will move it.

we don't hand out warning points for posting in the wrong area by accident, but we do hand out warning points for double posting.

however, no warning points are being handed out to you for this, and i am pushing your other thread into the recycling bin.

because your question has to do with the file subsystem, i beleive that the xp section is the best place for your thread.

now, let's see what we can figure out about your error.
