128mb geforce fx being recognized as 64mb

I recently bought a Chaintech Geforce FX with 128mb DDR memory. However it is being recognized as a 64mb card at startup, and in system information. I know i have installed all of the drivers correctly. I was wondering if this is probably a defective product, or if there is some way to fix it.

i have a athlon xp 2400, 512mb PC2700 ddr memory, a phillips sonic edge 5.1 soundcard, a Winfast tv card and a ECS K7S5A pro motherboard

This could be casued by a wrong setting in BIOS. Next time you turn on your computer open up BISO, and i am not sure, but i think the option is under something about the chipset settings, if you find it you will see lots of differnet AGP settings. I am bad with names as you can tell :tongue2: but you should look for an option with the setting of 64mb or 128mb, if it sais 64mb then change to 128mb, if it sais 128mb then leave it. Sorry about not saying the exact setting name, but i am horible with names and i cant remember it lol. I just know that it is in the BIOS under chipset or something.
