A Hitachi 1 TB SATA drive suddenly shows up as RAW and only 32 GB after installing Windows 7 and I believe catching a virus from somewhere. I don't need the data on it, but would like to restore it to 1TB NTFS if possible. I believe the computer which I used to install Win 7 on it has a BIOS virus and have taken that one out of service.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Yes it is 32MB rather than GB. My mistake.
And it is a Gigabyte Mother Board. When I first contacted Gigabyte about this, their response was basically, "swap out the video card", etc, etc. And.. "Well,It's an old obsolete board....."
Either the responder was stupid, or poorly trained, or deliberately avoiding mentioning this virus, which I'm certain they knew about.

At any rate, since this problem seems from the responses to be widely known, I'm SURE Gigabyte knows about it, and by avoiding mentioning it to me, they have FOREVER lost a customer.

Thanks, guys, for the quick replies and fixes.
I will try to see which one works best and get back to you.
